The “Clinical Pharmacology” course is a short lecture and laboratory course which covered several issues such as mechanisms of drugs , pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and drug interactions in involved system and clinical therapeutics. The course will focus on integrating pharmacological knowledge with medical patient care. On the other hand , the course will provide issues such as “Experimental therapeutics involving the safety and efficacy of new drugs” and “Evaluation of clinical trials and study designs” to enhance the student’s drug research experiences. This course is recommended for those who work in the health-care sector who are interested in clinical pharmacology and desire to step forward for greater career opportunities.

Course duration:

3 month program: January – March (begin in 2018)

Systemic Medical Pharmacology (4 credits)

Diploma in Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

The program is designed to acquire the concepts, skills, strategies, attitudes and knowledge necessary for a CRA to conduct clinical trials. The aim of this program is to develop an individual who performs as administrator, coordinator, monitor, consultant, educator, or researcher in the management of clinical trials.

Course duration:

One year program from August - December and January - May (begin in 2018)

Credit requirement:

24 credits

Systemic Medical Pharmacology (4 credits)

New drug discovery and development (3 credits)

Clinical new drug development (3 credits)

Biostatistics (3 credits)

Study design and protocol development (2 credits)
